  • Scholarship Recipients 2025

    The scholarship recipients are:

    Apeksha Jain, from India

    Christin Maria, from Germany

    Caroline Carbonaro, from USA

    Alexa Avilla, from USA

    Camellia Dinca, from Romania

Thank you to all who applied. I don’t think there was anyone who didn’t sound deserving of a scholarship and it was really difficult to consider who should get the places when I looked over the applications.

I went with what Spirit recommended in terms of who the recipients should be. The guidance I got was most focused on who would be best placed to use the materials now in order to reach their goals and/or help others.

I want to honour the amount of detail, personal info and the stories people submitted via the form (and by email). I wish I had time to respond personally to everyone but given the volume of applications it isn’t possible. Thank you very much for your vulnerability and trust in sharing so much information with me, and especially to those who put a lot of thought and time into their applications.

The info everyone submitted has been deleted now the recipients have been chosen.

PS. There was some confusion about what date the scheme ended. It was end of the day New Zealand time on 7th May but I didn’t make this clear so I also included a few US based people who applied by email before end of the day US time on the 7th.

  • Life Lessons & the Akashic Records: Is Inner Authority Your Spiritual Challenge?

In this article, I’m going to give information about a common primary life lesson that comes up for my clients when I read their Akashic Records: inner authority. (There are 88 life lessons that I know of, that souls can be learning on their soul’s journey. Souls choose one primary life lesson and then explore it from all angles over 5-15 lifetimes. Most souls also have several secondary life lessons that are less prominent.)

To explain what the life lesson of inner authority is about, I want to share something that happened to me:

Many years ago, I had a reading with a well-known (but not very friendly) intuitive who spent some of the time I had paid to consult with her, scolding me.

She told me that I was tuning into peoples’ energy fields and Spirit Guides and that I was wrong to do that. The only source I should be tuning into was God/Source. That was where she got her information from, and she felt it was a superior source of information. The advice was delivered with a dollop of shaming – ugh!

A student of mine recently received conflicting advice from teachers about which sources are OK to channel.

And their question was: how can I know what is the right source to channel?

    My answer was:

Explore, try things out, observe the results and draw your own conclusions.

You may have trusted teachers and mentors, but your conclusions should be your own. See what benefits you. See what benefits others. See what feels right over time.

My experience of channelling Spirit Guides has never backfired. They are very tuned into us and they provide most helpful information precisely because they are the beings who are assigned to us and they are intimately familiar with the details of our lives. They know our life lessons and soul’s journey across many lifetimes. For that reason, they can give us advice that is both spiritual/high-level and yet practical and earthly. And it is advice that is customised to us.

I’ve been channelling guides for myself and others for around 17 years now because I find it helpful and my clients consistently find it helpful.

If I tune into Source/God and channel from that place (as the intuitive I consulted with told me to do) I get really high-vibrational but often more abstract guidance. It’s lovely, but it’s not as customised to a client’s life.

I’ve been through a process over the last 15-17 years of deciding what is worthy of sharing with clients and students and what isn’t. I am pragmatic and always ready to ditch what doesn’t work.

Here is my approach to everything related to spiritual and psychic development:

“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it.

Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumoured by many.

Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books.

Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.

Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations.

But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.”

    ― Buddha Siddhartha Guatama Shakyamuni

The Life Lesson of Inner Authority

The quote I mentioned above encapsulates what a life lesson of inner authority is all about…

Souls who are learning the life lesson of inner authority will be having experiences which allow them to trust more in their own conclusions, perceptions and intuition. Sometimes this can involve being told what to do by others, following that advice and then learning that it doesn’t always work out when we assume other peoples’ knowledge or ideas are superior to ours, and put their opinions above our own.

We can learn life lessons through both positive and negative experiences. The hardest way to learn a life lesson of inner authority is through joining a cult (and then having to exit it.)

Another challenging way to learn this life lesson is to have a close relationship with someone who tries to control you and who has overbearing opinions about all your life choices. If you grew up with a particularly controlling parent who taught you that their approach and opinions are worth more than yours, inner authority may well be one of the life lessons that your soul has chosen for this lifetime.

Other signs that this is your life lesson include lacking confidence in your own perceptions and intuition and believing that other people are smarter than you and know better.

We are the expert of our own life and path!

But trusting ourselves can be scary.

It’s sometimes easier to trust others’ opinions over our own because in this way, we are able to shirk full responsibility for our own outcomes. If things don’t work out, we can unconsciously blame it on the person who advised us. We can also rest in a false sense of certainty that an authoritative person is offering us. This perceived sense of certainty and safety can be very seductive for someone who is learning a life lesson of inner authority.

  • Can We Manifest Change in the World’s Problems? — Part Two

The part 1 article in this series can be found here. In the first article I address the following question: Can we manifest change in global events through where we put our focus?

(If you haven’t already read that article, you might want to go read it before continuing with this one!)

I have a longtime reader who often writes to me with her thoughts and feedback when I send out a newsletter (I’m going to call her “Jenny”, although that is not her name).

Jenny’s feedback to my first article was this: Yes, we can effect change in the world, if we band together through collective prayer and meditation.

This is something that I didn’t talk about in my last article although I will in this one.

I know of theosophy meditation groups in the Alice Bailey tradition who meet monthly on the full moon in an attempt to bring healing energy to Earth. (Maybe someone reading this belongs to such a group.) Joe Dispenza’s and Lynne McTaggart’s students are also doing some amazing work with group meditations.

This has benefits for those who participate. And it’s definitely true that when you meditate or pray in a group, the energy becomes much more powerful.

    But on the other hand…

We are all grains of sand on the beach. There are so many of us.

It’s the collective energy of the beach that governs where we’re headed as a planet.

No grain of sand itself is going to change the course of events through conscious creation. You can band together with others in a group meditation and help to raise the energy of this planet but there are also groups that congregate in negative energy and unwittingly counteract that energy.

Does this mean we should lose all hope?

    No.

But personally, I don’t feel it’s helpful to concern myself too much with where this planet is headed or wake up in the morning and think about how I can save the world and be a positive influence today.

Instead, I try to take care of my own vibrational state and keep it high, and do my own inner work. When I operate from that place, life unfolds to help me to contribute something that feels positive to me. But I have no idea what role that plays in the scheme of things though and it is not my job to consider it either.

Neville Goddard (the conscious creation teacher who has had the biggest impact on me) knew this.

One of his biggest manifestations is that when he was called up to fight in WW2, he manifested being honourably discharged from the army so that he did not need to fight.

Neville Goddard did not try to manifest an end to World War Two. Instead, he manifested an opportunity to not participate in the war. In doing so, he potentially saved his own life and was able to go on to become a spiritual teacher.

I believe it is more effective to stay in one’s own lane.

Go within and focus on what is right within your own world. This does not mean that you ignore others’ plight — you can still be aware of what is not right with the world, but like the Jesuit priests who survived the Hiroshima bomb, you are more likely to survive and thrive (and be of service to others) if you are living from a high vibrational state, rather than focusing on where the world is headed and what is wrong with it.

  • Update – Evolutionary Manifesting™ Readings + Introducing Alison, a Graduate of the Evolutionary Manifesting Course

Since I created the Evolutionary Manifesting™ modality, I’ve had enquiries about when I will be offering these readings and mini readings to the general public (at present, they are only available to those who are enrolled on the Evolutionary Manifesting Course.)

These readings will be offered to the general public within the next several weeks

The reason they are only offered to Evolutionary Manifesting (EM) students right now is because they contain a lot of concepts and ideas that need to be explained (and these are the concepts taught in the EM course).

I am in the process of building out some Evolutionary Manifesting email reading templates to explain background concepts and when I have those completed, this will make things much quicker and more sustainable for me and it will bring the reading price down for my clients, too. At that point when I have my templates ready, I’ll start offering readings to the general public. I am really keen to have these offered to everyone so watch this space.

If you are not enrolled on the EM course and would like an Evolutionary Manifesting reading now, there is someone else offering these readings. Her name is Alison Diefenbach.

She has recently graduated from the Evolutionary Manifesting Course and you can check out her readings and website here. (Her readings are currently 10% off.) Alison has been a very motivated student and loves to be of service to her clients.

    Here’s a quick interview with Evolutionary Manifesting™ practitioner Alison…

Alison, what kind of feedback are you receiving from your clients about your work with the Evolutionary Manifesting modality?

Hi Anna, almost every client I’ve read for has loved the percentages and exact measurements they receive in the reading for their life lessons, vital life force energy, and past karma. They have said it’s extremely helpful to have this and they haven’t been offered something like this in a reading before.

Here is what one client said about their reading:

“I recently had an Evolutionary Manifesting Reading with Alison.  My first thought was amazing. Alison was very thorough and having her explanation of certain aspects made the reading extremely informative.  Along with the reading, Alison supplied details of ways to move forward.  Knowing how past karma and past lives are affecting me in this lifetime plus the best techniques for me has been eye opening. I would recommend this reading from Alison for anybody who is frustrated knowing they are doing what they can to manifest their best self, but constantly coming up against blocks.  Thank you Alison.”

    – Allison R.

You were a healer and intuitive for some time before deciding to train in this modality. What drew you to training in Evolutionary Manifesting?

I’ve always been drawn to metaphysical work, but over time I’ve realized that conscious creation is really where my heart is. It lights me up in a way nothing else does. Helping people align with their power and create from that place feels like what I’m truly here to do. I was so excited when I heard you would be releasing this modality, because it covers all the bases when it comes to conscious creation.

What has been your own experience as a conscious creator and what have you found most helpful on your path?

I started consciously creating in 2017. It definitely took a lot of effort and work on a daily basis, but I was able to successfully do it in about 9 months (I manifested my life partner, and then our wedding).

At this point, I thought I had it all figured out. However, when I tried manifesting after this, what I was doing before wasn’t working. For about 4 years, I bashed my head against the wall and all of my efforts ended in frustration and disappointment. About 2 years ago, my intuition told me to search for the following: “not talking about what you’re manifesting”. So I searched for this and that’s how I came across Anna’s blog and was ultimately introduced to the Law of Assumption. When I started practicing the law of assumption, things really started to change and ultimately it led me to getting an Evolutionary Manifesting reading, and I finally began to see real movement toward my goals.

Do you have any tips for conscious creators based on your own experiences?

Depending on your intentions, there may be some significant inner work involved. Conscious creation requires consistent, daily effort.

To be honest, getting my Masters degree was a piece of cake compared to how much effort I put into conscious creation! If it feels challenging sometimes, I think that’s normal. But it’s truly worth it, and it does work. Remember the Bridge of Incidents. When things seem to be falling apart, it can actually be a sign that everything is shifting into place behind the scenes, and what you’re doing is working! Trust that.

Also, don’t forget the divine component. Divine timing is real. Spirit is always supporting you, even when it doesn’t feel obvious. When you’re doing your practices each day, stay open and listen. The guidance that comes through can be one of your most powerful tools in the conscious creation process.

Is there anything else about your background that you would like to share?

I’m trauma-informed, certified in somatic hypnosis, and have a deep understanding of how the subconscious mind works. Over the last 8 years, I’ve been honing my intuitive skills through Tarot, healing and clearing in the Akashic Records, and studying the Divine Feminine.

Thank you, Alison, and congratulations on your graduation!

  • Two Signs That Told me I Was on the Wrong Life Path — My Experiences

From 2016-2019, I was a full-time international house sitter, travelling from place to place, looking after peoples’ pets and homes while they were on holiday.

Towards the end of 2019, things began to go really wrong. I had one bad house sit after another. I got attacked by a dog. I remember at one particular low point I was looking after an elderly cat with dementia (the dementia had not been disclosed to me!) that wandered and howled day and night with distress. I could not get any sleep. There was water collecting in the basement of the house and the fire alarms kept going off! I hardly slept for about ten days and I remember feeling very burnt out.

Prior to that episode, I knew it was time to stop house sitting since living an itinerant lifestyle was no longer good for me and my health, but I resisted the change.

I came to the conclusion that I was being hit over the head with a bunch of intolerable situations until I gave in and got onto the path that was right for me.

That seemed to be the case because shortly after that, I moved into a one bedroom house in Yorkshire, UK, that I absolutely loved and I had a happy time there.

Around January of this year I experienced something similar again in that I started having plumbing issues at my house. A leak, a flood, a burst pipe, and destroyed walls and ceiling in one room. A tap that wouldn’t turn off.

Altogether there were 4 plumbing issues, 3 of them serious. A neighbour also decided to replace his roof so I would be living next to a construction site. The situation became intolerable before I decided it was time to leave.

Spirit told me when I moved in a while back that I would be living in my present property 20 months. I’m now 22 months in. I have the distinct impression I have overstayed and am living in someone else’s house!

In my life, when bad stuff happens that is out of my control, that is just ridiculous — one thing after another after another — it’s been a sign that I need a change that I am resisting and I am being forced out of a situation that is no longer wanted. And my experience has been that the discordant energy dissipates when I make the change I’ve been resisting.

The fact is, we do come here with a distinct path to walk that is our highest path and purpose — or at the very least, one of the paths that are considered higher (and more suited to us) than other possible paths.

We come into this world with:

All of those will lend themselves well to certain paths and not others.

We certainly have free will to choose which path we will take, but life and our higher self will send us consistent feedback about the path we have chosen and whether it aligns well with our purpose, lessons, soul gifts and soul contracts.

Unfavourable circumstances that do not let up over time can often be a sign that the path we are walking is not right for us.

Let’s have a look at another sign we’re on the wrong path in life to some degree…

    Low vitality and energy levels

What happens when we find ourselves living in a location that isn’t right for us?

In a job that is not an expression of our soul gifts, or perhaps one with a disrespectful employer or co-workers?

Or in a relationship with someone who isn’t right for us?

Or living a lifestyle that needs some serious changes? (Like when I needed to stop house sitting).

When any of those situations are occurring, the soul may restrict the amount of energy available to stop us from going down the wrong path.

People in the wrong situations for them can suffer from fatigue and low vitality.

This is something that I’ve experienced in my own life, especially when I was unwell in 2020-2022. I was involved in many situations that were not right for me and it was draining. It took me a lot of time to extricate myself from those and that has been a big part of recovering my health.

I have slowly, over time been constructing a new life for myself and as I get closer to my highest path, the energy flows better and is more available to me.

Our souls do not want us going down the wrong paths for us, and part of that may involve restricting energy flow and supply when we’ve taken the wrong route.

It’s part of the spiritual feedback system that is in place to guide us.

(However, that’s not to say that everyone with chronic fatigue is in the wrong situation, and it’s clear that this is not going to be a factor in 100% of fatigue cases.)

In my Evolutionary Manifesting Course, I go into 19 causes of energy deficits which are affecting manifesting capacity and size of the auric field (both of which are reflected in our energy levels), and I also teach how to find out which one applies to you or a client in the scenario where your energy field is too small and energy levels are low. Being off track with one’s highest path and purpose is just one possible contributor to low vitality, but one that does come up for my clients sometimes.

If you’d like to learn more about how to increase vital life force energy for more effective and quicker conscious creation (and more energy flow in general), check out my Evolutionary Manifesting Course.

  • Astrology and the Akashic Records — What Is the Connection?

A student (who is doing my Akashic Record Reading Program) recently asked me:

Would it benefit me as an Akashic Record reader to train in astrology?

Would reading a client’s natal chart add another dimension to my Akashic Record readings?

In this article, I’m going to talk about the connection between astrology and the Akashic Records…

(Just a heads up that if you have no training in astrology, this article may not make sense to you — this is an article for those with at least a bit of a background in the topic!)

The natal chart in astrology is a reflection of what is contained within a person’s Akashic soul record and it can often yield similar results as an Akashic Record reading (but with some key differences…more on that below).

By reading a person’s astrological natal chart a very skilled and experienced astrologer (who also has training in evolutionary astrology – the branch of astrology that delves into the soul’s journey across lifetimes through the natal chart), can potentially tell clients about the points that we cover in Akashic Record readings, such as:

    • Soul gifts
    • Past lives
    • Soul purpose
    • Life lessons.

BUT there are three key differences here between the 2 modalities that are worth noting:

The first one is that giving Akashic Record readings (the way I teach them) is simpler and easier than giving an astrology natal chart reading. To do a good job with an Akashic Record reading requires less skill and experience.

Here is what Google says about becoming a proficient astrologer and how long it takes:

“Becoming a proficient astrologer is a lengthy process, typically taking years of dedicated study and practice. While some individuals can grasp the basics in a few months, achieving accuracy and intuitive understanding can take 5-10 years or even longer, depending on the individual’s learning pace and dedication. Some sources suggest that achieving a level of expertise where you can effectively advise clients might take up to 20-30 years.”

That timeline estimate might be a bit on the long side, but all the same, I don’t think anyone is going to become a proficient astrologer in a matter of months.

By contrast, it typically takes my students a few months to get to the point where they can give a good Akashic Record reading. And it will never take them years.

It requires more skill, experience and time for an astrologer to be able to hit the main points in an astrology reading that an Akashic Record reading will typically include. It also definitely takes strong intuition. It will probably also require some training and experience in evolutionary astrology in order to get the kind of detail that an Akashic Record reader can get in an Akashic Record reading.

If you’d like to know why reading the Akashic Records (at least the way I teach it) does not take a long time and is not difficult, check out this article: Why You Don’t Have to Be Intuitive to Learn to Read the Akashic Records. (In it, I explain the process of reading the Akashic Records as I teach it.)

The second key difference between the two modalities (Akashic Record reading and astrology)…

…Is that astrology will yield information on soul gifts, but it doesn’t necessarily tell the client where those gifts come from.

So, for example, a natal astrology reading might tell you that you have a communication or teaching soul gift but it won’t usually tell you that you have this gift because you belong to a particular soul group of origin. In essence, an astrology reading will often successfully highlight the gift but not the reason it exists.

An Akashic Record reading on the other hand will usually tell you where the gift came from and why you have it.

    The third difference: clear-cut information

An Akashic Record reading will provide very clear-cut information on the various points. For example, there are 88 life lessons that I know of that a soul can be learning in any given lifetime, although most souls will be learning a few at a time. When Akashic Record readers get information on a client’s life lessons, it’s clear cut and simple – the primary life lesson is going to be one of those 88 life lessons and it usually won’t take less than a minute to ascertain which one it is.

Astrology readings on the other hand involve weighing up different aspects and factoring everything in to come to a conclusion – in my experience, it’s more complicated (and more work) to come to the same end result.

    Case Study + Examples

I’m going to take the example of my natal chart and demonstrate how it is reflected in the soul profile that is reflected in my Akashic soul record.

    My soul profile

    • I am a Sirian soul, by origin (you can read about the Sirian soul group here.)
    • My Archangelic realm of training is the third realm. This is the realm of balance, beauty, aesthetics, harmony, elegance, perfection and justice. (The Archangelic realm of training is an energetic ‘place’ that all souls train in before they incarnate on Earth in order to be transmitters of certain energies once they arrive here.) The Archangelic realm is reflected in the approach that we bring to our lives and our work. Having the third realm of training means my soul brings the energies of balance, justice and aesthetics – I’m often told my website is beautiful (although I did not personally design it!) and the content I provide is ‘grounded’ or balanced, so my realm of training is quite reflected well in my work.
    • My main life lessons are moderation and power (you can read about the life lesson of moderation here. Power as a life lesson I haven’t written about much on my blog.)
    • One of my archetypes is ‘communicator’, which indicates a life purpose involving imparting information and a soul past that has involved developing communication skills. (No doubt my work on this website is a continuation of this!)
    • I have a secondary ‘Godspark’ at the throat chakra, which also indicates a life purpose involving communication and teaching. Here is some info on secondary Godsparks (scroll down to point #2 – about one quarter down the page – to read the info on secondary Godsparks).

How this is reflected in my natal chart

    1. Aesthetics and balance

I have Libra rising, which has a very similar energy to the third Archangelic realm of training that I described above. (Souls who have libra rising are lovers of beauty, elegance and harmony.)

In addition, Venus is the most prominent planet in my natal chart, which also reflects the third Archangelic realm of training.

    2. Communication soul purpose

My north node is in Gemini (in the 9th house). Here is some info online about that:

“Individuals with the North Node in Gemini in the 9th House are meant to embark on an expansive journey of self-discovery through education, travel, and intellectual pursuits. They thrive when they embrace their intellectual curiosity and explore a variety of belief systems and cultures. This placement encourages them to communicate their philosophical and spiritual insights, promoting a sense of open-mindedness and adaptability. Their life purpose often involves sharing knowledge and widening their horizons through global experiences.”

This Gemini north node is reflected both in my communicator archetype and in the secondary Godspark that I have at the throat chakra.

    3. ‘Power’ life lesson

Pluto is in my first house, which indicates there has been/will be some learning in this lifetime around the theme of personal power.

    4. Futuristic, progressive energies

My sun sign is Aquarius. The energy of the Sirian soul group is quite an aquarian one in that Sirians have a strong desire for spiritual evolution and progress.

    5. Past lives

I can see by reading my Akashic Records that in my past lives there has been a very strong connection to nature and the land & many farming lifetimes. I come from a family of gardeners and farmers. This is reflected in my Taurus moon.

These kinds of parallels can be seen not just in my chart, but across the board for all clients.

Would it benefit astrologers to learn to read the Akashic Records?

Yes, potentially. Reading the Akashic Records would lead astrologers towards similar conclusions about a client and his/her life much more quickly and in a more clear-cut way, and provide extra details and additional information on where the soul gifts come from, as well.

However, whichever modality a practitioner chooses, both essentially will lead to the same kinds of information.

  • 5 x Online Course Scholarships Available May 2025

5 x Online Course Scholarships Available May 2025

About 18 months ago I gave away several scholarships to my online courses. I am running this scholarship scheme again this year, until 7th May NZT.

Scroll down to the bottom to find out how you can apply.

These are the four courses on offer (you can apply to receive a scholarship for any of them, although you must choose one in your application):

Please note, scholarships are for the “no mentoring” or “independent learner” versions of the courses, which means no mentoring or certification is offered – just the course materials.

Important Info – Please Read Before Applying

The purpose of this scheme is to allow 5 people who would not otherwise be able to take my courses to be able to do them. Therefore, these scholarships are only open to people in situations like the ones below:

    • You earn your income in a developing country or a country with a weak currency
    • You are unemployed or on social security/benefits
    • You earn a relatively low income/minimum wage and don’t earn enough to afford my courses
    • You are a single parent and your family lives on one overstretched income.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be someone who is without savings (less than $1000 US) or assets. If you have significant assets (such as owning a place to live), you aren’t eligible for this scholarship.

The reason I am being specific in terms of financial conditions is because I want to make sure these scholarships go to those who don’t have much right now, and those who would not otherwise have the opportunity to sign up.

For the professional-level courses (so, the Akashic Record Reading Program and the Intuitive Healing Program), I would also prefer for the scholarships to go to someone who wants to use the material to start a business or do readings for others.

If you were to be chosen, you must be comfortable for me to announce you publicly (your name and location) as the recipient of one of the scholarships.

To apply, please fill out this form.

The clearer you can be in the application about how you meet the requirements above (and how you would like to use the materials), the more likely it is that you will be chosen – I will discard any applications where eligibility isn’t clear.

Any info you provide in the application is kept confidential and will be deleted once the recipients have been chosen.

The recipients will be chosen and contacted on 7th May NZT.

Update: The recipients have now been chosen.

  • Can We Manifest Change in Global Events and the World’s Problems? – Part One

Recently I had a question from a student asking something along these lines:

“I’m curious about your take on Neville Goddard’s concept of “everything is you pushed out” as it applies to the wider world.

Can we effect change in world events, such as politics, war, global tragedies and events that affect a large number of people all at once?”

This is something I have pondered a great deal over the last two years and I finally feel I have come to a better understanding of this topic and have an answer to it, although it is just my opinion based on my experience and channelling.

The Law of Assumption teacher Neville Goddard (who is the manifesting teacher/author who has had the biggest influence on me) taught this concept that “everything is you pushed out”. I interpret this to mean that whatever shows up in your world, is a reflection of your subconscious mind and the contents of your auric field.

There are many aspects that can be contained within the auric field and reflected out into your 3D reality:

    • Positive or negative thoughts
    • Positive or negative reactions/emotionalised reactions
    • Positive or negative moods
    • Positive thought forms (repeated positive thoughts that have taken on a life of their own)
    • Negative thought forms (repeated negative thoughts that have taken on a life of their own)
    • Desires and intentions
    • Traumas and fears
    • Positive and negative beliefs
    • Karmic complexes
    • Energy body tears/leakages
    • Soul loss
    • Downstream consequences of karmic complexes, such as ancestral influences, earthbound spirits, present life soul loss (and more)

This isn’t an exhaustive list, but just to give you some ideas, in terms of what I believe ‘everything is you pushed out’ refers to.

I do not believe that we can control world events with our thoughts, beliefs, reactions or feelings. We have incarnated in this time, in this place, and certain things are going to happen in the backdrop of our incarnations that are outside of our control. Our souls have chosen to be here and part of this.

Earth school is clearly not a utopia and never will be one.

But we can create our own personal utopias. We can control our personal world and to some extent we can positively influence those around us within our world.

And we can certainly influence how much we take part in any kind of global upheaval or unfortunate event, through the contents of our auric field and our vibrational state.

I’ll give you an example of how this may manifest.

When the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, most buildings in the surrounding area were flattened and of course, many people were killed either in the explosion or later on from the health effects of the radiation.

Eight Jesuit priests survived the bomb as their rectory was not completely destroyed (unlike most of the buildings in the vicinity) and amazingly, they reportedly had no subsequent health effects.

You can read more about that story here.

Here is an excerpt from the article:

“Father Schiffer and the other Jesuits were examined and interviewed repeatedly by scientists, medical doctors and others who could not understand why they had escaped injury. Father Schiffer reportedly said that he himself had been interviewed 200 times. Asked why they believe they were spared, when so many others died either from the explosion or from the subsequent radiation, Father Schiffer spoke for himself and for his companions:

We believe that we survived because we were living the message of Fatima (i.e. the Virgin Mary). We lived and prayed the Rosary daily in that home.”

Religious practices (such as prayer) can elevate one’s vibrational state in a similar way to LOA practices. Certain negative religious teachings (such as the existence of hell or excessive guilt over one’s sins) are not going to help, but if a person can take what is positive from religious teachings and put it into practice through prayer and meditation, this can raise one’s vibrational state.

I believe that living from a high vibrational state protects one from danger and adversity. Our vibrational state can make us invisible to trouble makers, more receptive to protective intuition, and more.

So, this is what I mean when I say that we can mostly just influence our own outcomes within the backdrop that we have incarnated into.

In some small way, we can also influence our corner of the world, but I don’t believe we can do this by trying hard to be a positive influence on others or helping others. In fact, the more that we try to help others or save the world, the less effective we become.

We have to pour into ourselves with LOA techniques or anything else that makes us feel good, live well, and guard our own vibrational state, and then we can positively influence others as a side effect of that, without even trying.

But alter the course of world events? No, not unless we came here with a particular soul contract to do so, and that does not apply to many souls.

Where are you putting your focus?

Something I find helpful is to largely tune out from the news and other sources of info about what is going on in the world.

I personally have struggled with this issue a lot over the last couple of years as I came to terms with knowing information that I didn’t have before. I became much more aware of the fact that certain sociopathic corporations and individuals seem to have much more control than they should have over the state of the world and I also came to the conclusion that politics does not effect much change. I no longer trust governments in any way, shape or form. I found the more I focused on what I discovered and believed to be true, the more angry and despondent I became. Nothing I was absorbing was helping to solve that problem, and focusing on it was not helping anyone or myself.

These days, I choose to turn away from the world’s problems and I seek to be like the Jesuit priests, aiming to focus instead on high vibrational energies. It is not always easy and I am not saying I manage to achieve it day in, day out, but it is something to aim for.

This isn’t to say that I don’t believe in activism. Activism can create some degree of change, but I also believe it comes at a personal cost because it involves resistance, which is not an easy energy to be dealing in.

If you’re struggling to live from a high vibrational place but you’d like to change that, go here to read my Law of Assumption (LOA) articles and get the info you need to get started with your own LOA practice.

And please leave a comment if you have experiences or opinions to share on this topic!

    A couple of announcements…

    1. Evolutionary Manifesting readings are now open, exclusively for Evolutionary Manifesting Course students. I’m also offering an Evolutionary Manifesting mini reading, which can be found here.

(To be eligible for either reading, one would need to enrolled in my Evolutionary Manifesting Course.)

    2. If you have tried to sign up for any of the free e-courses or resources on my free resources page, unfortunately the sign up forms have not been working for around 2 months and I didn’t realise until recently. These forms are now working.

I’ve been feeling somewhat disconnected from my newsletter subscribers and blog readers so I’m going to give an update about what has been going on here at AnnaSayce.com.

I haven’t been posting much lately since I have been worn out from creating a new modality and online course: Evolutionary Manifesting.

This is a course which identifies blocks to manifesting and it came out last February. I had a lot of spiritual help in creating it, and I had Spirit on my back on almost a daily basis wanting me to get it released! (that had never happened before with any of my online programs.) Towards the end I was working up to 18 hours per day to get it finished to my deadline and I really overdid things, ending up with eyestrain and feeling somewhat burnt out.

I also neglected my own conscious creation practices for a few months because I was so busy and motivated to get the project finished, and I did not feel good by the time the course came out!

I’ve spent the last couple of months mostly recuperating and I did a bit of travelling (my first overseas holiday in around 4.5 years), visiting Paraguay. This was my first time in South America.

I was ill with an autoimmune illness in 2020-2022 and unable to tolerate any sun/daylight (or travel) and my world became quite small during that time, since I was confined to my home until it was dark. In fact, I only spent 2 nights away from home in the last 4.5-5 years! So, this trip was a big and positive step for me.

When I arrived in Paraguay, my past visualisations and manifestations for increased freedom came to life as I enjoyed the sunshine and regained my confidence as a traveller.

    Sunrise in Asunción

About 18 months ago when I was water fasting, I had a series of intense and vivid dreams set in South America and those dreams involved water. I had multiple dreams where I was crossing dangerous rivers with migrants or on the shores of a beautiful lake.

This is something that tends to happen to me (dreaming of a place before I go there!)

I had no plans to visit South America at that time and it was not on my radar, however, it was interesting to have a deja vu moment later on this trip, where I found myself on the shores of the Ypacaraí lake in Paraguay – a moment that matched my dream.

You can read more about precognitive dreams and dreaming of the future in this article.

  • When a Past Life Self Is Sabotaging Your Financial Prosperity

    [et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.16″ global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.16″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.4″ background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” sticky_enabled=”0″]

In this article, I want to give an example of what an Evolutionary Manifesting reading looks like, and what this modality can achieve for people, to provide more detail for anyone who is interested in the Evolutionary Manifesting course. Even if you’re not interested in the course, this article features a client’s past life experience which I think is an interesting story!

Evolutionary Manifesting (which I abbreviate to EM) is a modality I created that helps to identify and release blocks to manifesting that have their origins in past lives.

It is built on the following premises:

The Law of Assumption/Attraction says that we manifest according to what is in our subconscious mind. I believe that we actually manifest our lives according to the entire contents of our subtle energy bodies (which together make up the energy field) and the subconscious mind also forms part of our energy field. Essentially, our external life reflects back to us who we are ‘being’, on the level of our energy field (and not just on the level of the subconscious mind).

Certain spiritual traditions, such as Tibetan Buddhism, teach that these subtle energy bodies are not cleaned up from one lifetime to the next — instead, since we are souls who are on an evolutionary journey, we take the contents of them from one life to the next.

If we have had any past life traumas which had a big impact on our soul (which will be stored in the energy field), these can also be carried from one lifetime to the next – these traumas are called karmic complexes.

A karmic complex is essentially a wound that the soul sustains while experiencing trauma on the Earth plane. The wound has negative beliefs, feelings, thoughts, attitudes and compulsive behaviours connected to it.

The essence of trauma is to repeat itself in search of resolution, and so a karmic complex causes repeating negative patterns of belief, thought, emotion and behaviour that manifests in our inner world, and these also create unwanted situations in our outer world (“as within, so without”).

Karmic complexes are the number one reason why some people do not manifest their desires.

Not everyone has a karmic complex (and if you’re new to conscious creation, I recommend simply using LOA techniques to manifest a desired outcome before considering karmic complexes), but a subset of conscious creators do have one or more karmic complexes interfering with their manifestations, and these are the people who tend to give up on conscious creation after a while because it simply doesn’t work for them, and they sense that something deeper is blocking them.

Now I’m going to share an Evolutionary Manifesting reading that I did recently for a student who is going through my Evolutionary Manifesting course, so you can see how this sort of thing manifests.

My student (I’m going to call her Gemma, although that is not her real name) wanted an EM reading because she hadn’t been able to manifest an income beyond a certain level, and she wanted more financial prosperity.

Plus she hadn’t managed to keep up positive habits that would help her to achieve her goals in life.

She also struggled to persist with conscious creation techniques because she had low energy and was too tired to do them for an extended period.

So, her intentions in terms of conscious creation were the following:

    • Improved energy
    • A home she loves
    • Her family being healthy and happy
    • Being financially worry free

The first thing I did as part of her reading was to tune in to see if there is a karmic complex that is affecting the manifestation of her intentions.

The answer to that was yes.

I channelled on the karmic complex and here is what I was told:

She had a female past life that took place in Turkey around 500-600 years ago. I was given the word Constantinople, the old name in English for Istanbul.

I was shown that she lived with her family in Constantinople (or perhaps in the surrounding areas) and invaders came, and they burned and sacked her town. She lived with her mother and brothers. Her family had a business and a home that they had spent generations building and they lost both of those things in the space of one day. Her brothers stayed behind to fight, and she and her mother left their town as refugees and walked west, with nothing more than the clothes on their backs.

(According to the research that I did after the reading, the historical event Gemma lived through may have been the Fall of Constantinople in 1453).

Her mother was not well and died on the journey, and had to be buried on the roadside. Gemma often struggled to find shelter, food and water on the way. She passed through multiple Eastern European countries. I felt she did not encounter much hospitality on the road because she spoke the language of the invaders — the Turks had invaded these countries in the past and she was regarded warily. She kept walking until she found a new life. She walked for weeks and she eventually arrived at a place in Eastern Europe where she was offered somewhere to sleep, then she found work (I think it was domestic work, working in a kitchen), and had an offer of marriage.

Gemma did not want to marry the man who offered to marry her and didn’t like him much, but she felt she had no choice because she was so tired by this point and needed some security, which this person offered. It was not a marriage that she would have chosen for herself under normal circumstances.

She died 15 years later in childbirth, bearing this man’s child. At the moment of death, she blamed herself for choosing him and for having no choice but to bear his children. This created a karmic complex.

The karmic complex revolved around a sense of futility. Obviously that lifetime had involved a lot of loss – sudden loss of her home and family, and also the loss of her life.

This past life self couldn’t believe that she had walked all of that way in a journey that took weeks, to save her own life, only to lose it in childbirth. In effect, the seeds of the new life she had found, also contained her demise.

She also couldn’t believe that the home and business her family had spent generations building were both gone overnight.

There was a sense that a person can work to achieve great things in life, but they can be taken away, so what’s the point in achieving anything? (And interestingly, her life lesson in that lifetime was ‘achievement’!)

Here is what the past life self told me:

    “What’s the point?”

    “There is no point”

    “Live for the short term”

“Don’t invest/commit” (because what you work hard to build over time can be destroyed in one day, even if you do everything right.)

    “I can’t have what I want”

This past life self had unresolved issues and was unintegrated within Gemma, and was influencing her by feeding her ‘guidance’ that wasn’t helpful.

This is a karmic complex that affected Gemma in the area of reaching long-term goals, productivity and putting in effort over the long term. This past life self had experienced the pain of losing something that she had invested a lot in, since she walked a long way to save her own life and her family had lost everything they had built over a long period. She didn’t want Gemma to invest too much in any projects and experience the same pain.

This past life self told me that she weakens Gemma’s resolve when it comes to her goals and habits.

The past life self also had some degree of guilt because she hadn’t been able to save her mother.

There was a sense of “I can’t” and “I’m not capable” with this complex.

Gemma said she agreed with the findings of the reading – she often left things to the last minute to complete and lived for the short term. On our call, she said something like, “I might get hit by a bus anyway, so that’s why I do things at the last minute”.

As part of my EM readings, I look into the best way for the client to clear their complex, and also find out when would be the ideal time to do it (since clearing a complex can take a lot of energy to do, and not everyone is in a position to do it straight away).

I also look for downstream consequences of the karmic complex, since it’s a good idea to clear those at the same time.

There are 6 possible downstream consequences of karmic complexes and Gemma had one of them: an ancestral/epigenetic influence.

I mentioned that our karmic complexes can be passed down from one lifetime to the next, until we resolve them, and we manifest according to them.

We can also manifest according to the downstream consequences (like ancestral influences), and ancestral influences are usually going to reflect our karmic complex really well, because if we have a karmic complex, we choose a family to incarnate into that has similar karmic complexes to our own. (Then when we grow up as part of that family, we are conditioned according to similar karmic complexes.)

I was told that Gemma has an ancestral influence on her mother’s side, 3 generations back. (So, this was an ancestral influence that was also interfering with her desired intentions.) This would have been her great-grandmother. This ancestor resonated with Gemma’s karmic complex or was connected to it in some way.

Gemma told me that her great-grandmother lived a similar story, in that she had an arranged marriage with a man and they emigrated out of China, to another country in Asia. The couple worked really hard and set up successful businesses in their new country but lost everything in WW2, through no fault of their own. Her great-grandfather subsequently died by suicide.

Gemma wasn’t able to provide confirmation of this, but I had the sense that her great-grandmother’s marriage was not a good one (i.e. not someone she would have chosen for herself, which echoed Gemma’s past life experience) and that her great-grandmother was both disappointed in the marriage and her lot in life.

Spirit told me that her great-grandmother didn’t have the life that she wanted and had passed down a story of loss to her descendants and also a story that it wasn’t possible to have what one wants in life. Gemma confirmed that her mother and her grandmother definitely had a sense of unfulfilled potential in their lives (which probably would have been typical for the times they lived in).

This story was reinforcing the karmic complex and influencing Gemma epigenetically through the processes that were going on in her body. So, there was a biological component to the karmic complex, as well. (This sounds like an esoteric process, but it is something that science has proven occurs!)

Spirit gave me guidance on how Gemma could overcome the ancestral component of the complex, too.

The next part of the reading involved looking into the size of Gemma’s energy field and whether she had the energy to manifest her desired outcomes or heal the karmic complex.

Many of the Evolutionary Manifesting clients I’ve worked with do not have enough energy to manifest their desired outcome because they have subtle energy bodies that are depleted.

This element is absolutely crucial for manifesting a desired outcome, and it is something that not many Law of Attraction/Assumption teachers and coaches talk about.

A bit of background on this…

Here on Earth, we have various forms of currency. We have time, we have money and we have energy. In the spirit world, the only currency is energy. Energy is what is needed to manifest a desired outcome – to take something that is formless, not yet in the 3D, and make it physical.

When I refer to having energy, I mean having an energy field that is big and replete with energy.

I am going to use the metaphor of energy, in the form of a dollar amount. We all receive the same amount of energy from Source/the Creator each day – let’s say it is ‘$100’ per day. We all use this energy in different ways, and how we spend our energy tends to be quite automatic and subconscious.

This part of an Evolutionary Manifesting reading tells a client how they are spending (or perhaps wasting) their energy and if they have enough energy to manifest a desired outcome or clear a karmic complex – and if not, how they can change that.

Not having enough energy to manifest a desired outcome is a bit like not having enough money to buy the things you need and want in this life. If you haven’t got the currency to buy what you want, you won’t be able to have it.

There is a scale that I use to measure peoples’ energy fields, and there is a certain place on that scale that most people need to be at, in order to manifest a desired outcome or have enough energy to do the work to resolve a karmic complex.

A small energy field is when the energy field (which should normally be up to 1-2 metres outside of the body) is depleted and reduced in size. In some cases, it can be so small that it looks ‘shrink-wrapped’ to the body and at the point of collapse.

We use the energy in the energy field to consciously create our lives.

If your energy field is too small, you have less energy to create and you are more likely to stay stuck in present circumstances – you only have the energy to perpetuate the status quo.

If your energy field is spacious, full of light and big, you have plenty of energy at your disposal for conscious creation or clearing a karmic complex.

A small energy field can occur when we are being depleted by our life situation or relationships, and/or by our own negative thinking. It can also occur when we are not balancing energy depletion with energy nourishment.

The energy field can be built through some LOA techniques and certain healthy living practices.

Gemma had an energy field which was quite depleted, and Spirit gave her the 6 reasons why this was the case, along with some ideas for mitigating and resolving some of them. She was also told which LOA technique would build her energy field the quickest and given info on when she would be ready to tackle the karmic complex.

There were lots of other things included in the reading, as well. One of them involved asking about Gemma’s manifesting ‘weakest link’ – what was interfering with her manifesting process the most? Spirit told me her weakest link was a lack of consistency with LOA techniques, and there were two reasons for this:

    1. Her past life self didn’t want her to be consistent or invest any energy in this
    2. Her energy field was depleted and she didn’t have much energy to do LOA techniques anyway.

Gemma got clear guidance about what was blocking her, how to resolve it, when to resolve it and which steps she can take right now to get on the road to manifesting her desired outcome.

It’s interesting also that Gemma’s intention was for her family to be happy and healthy, given that there was an ancestral component to the complex that seemed to be affecting her family, too.

Plus, I found that her mother in this lifetime was the mother she lost and could not save in that previous lifetime. And the brothers who stayed behind in Constantinople to fight (and who she never saw again in that lifetime) were her niece and brother in this lifetime. Gemma mentioned that when her niece was born, she felt she shifted onto a more negative ‘timeline’ in terms of what she was manifesting, which made sense to me – often when we meet souls from past lives, it can retrigger old stories in us – the stories that we shared with them in a past life.

Therefore, by healing the ancestral component of her complex, Gemma can bring healing not only to herself, but also to her family line.

Interestingly, when Gemma started the Evolutionary Manifesting (EM) course, she didn’t think she’d need an EM reading herself because even though there have been challenging periods in her life, she felt she had had it easy compared to many people in the world. She thought her problems in life simply arose from her not trying hard enough.

After having the complex described to her, it became clear to Gemma that this complex affects her earning potential because she lives in the short term and doesn’t want to invest too much effort, so she only does things when they MUST be done.

But on the flip side, she feels her past life self IS seeking security, so when things give her security and peace of mind, she does do them. But she doesn’t seem to be able to invest in them beyond a certain point or do more than that (hence the income ceiling). So, this past life self allows Gemma to acquire some level of financial security – just enough – but beyond that, there is a sense of ‘what’s the point?’ (this was feedback she shared with me after the reading was delivered.)

So, it’s clear that karmic complexes don’t have to result in dire life circumstances or terrible traumas in this life. Sometimes they block us subtly and in ways that are hard to pinpoint.

Evolutionary Manifesting enables a person to identify their karmic complex with great precision.

And when we pinpoint our karmic complex and resolve it, that is when a person’s life changes.

I’m talking real, lasting, sustainable change – not ‘flash in the pan’ stuff.

Here is what I’ve manifested by resolving my own karmic complexes:

    • Healthier relationships. My life is filled with decent, kind people, and I also attract the most awesome clients and students into my business.
    • More inspiration and passion for my work, plus this amazing modality that Spirit gifted to me.
    • I had a successful business for many years but I couldn’t work in it much because I was being hindered by poor health…

…Here is a list of my health manifestations over the last few years:

    • Going from being a ‘low energy’ person for around 12-15 years (only being able to work a couple of hours per day) to being able to work 30+ hour weeks again
    • An end to lifelong complex PTSD following a difficult upbringing (I had an ACE score of 8). I put the past to bed.
    • Reversal of a multi-symptom serious, chronic autoimmune disease
    • An end to 24 years of seasonal affective disorder (winter depression)
    • No more severe post-viral asthma that frequently used to land me in the ER even after a minor virus (I haven’t used an inhaler in 2 years.)
    • No more eczema
    • No more PMS or awful periods (I used to feel ill for several days per month)
    • An end to chronic silent reflux and chronic digestive issues which left me unable to eat certain foods (dairy, gluten, fruit) for 14 years – I can now eat a greater variety of foods
    • No more medications

As mentioned, not everyone who is manifesting a desired outcome needs an EM reading. New conscious creators should just get started with using LOA techniques and shifting their state of being, and they may find that’s all they need.

People who can benefit from Evolutionary Manifesting include those who have used LOA techniques for an extended period, but who have found that not a lot changed for them on the inside or in their external world.

Evolutionary Manifesting is also suitable for those who have low energy/vitality, and those who have experienced childhood trauma that created deeply seated negative beliefs that they can’t seem to shift (childhood trauma is going to have its roots in a karmic complex). And it’s suitable for spiritual workers who want to work with clients who meet the criteria above.

If you’re interested in learning how to do this kind of reading for people (or for yourself), I teach this in my Evolutionary Manifesting™ Course.

Just a final note that I asked Gemma if I can share this story partly because I think it’s a great story, worthy of a fictional novel! I actually believe that many of the stories that come to novelists out of nowhere, are ones that belong to earthbound spirits who are stuck in a karmic complex and are looking for their story to be told and made sense of.
