In this article, I want to go into a fascinating topic, which is that of the secondary Godspark.
Have you ever met someone with a special talent? Maybe that person was a really excellent speaker or an amazing healer. The chances are, they may have at some point been gifted with a secondary Godspark, which boosted their talent or made it possible for them.
In order to put the secondary Godspark into context, I am going to explain what the primary Godspark is.
All souls have what’s called a primary Godspark. This is a golden cord that runs from the heart chakra straight back to Source. Through this Godspark, for several minutes every night, we receive vital life force energy from Source.
We can’t live without our Godspark. It’s the equivalent of an umbilical cord that nourishes a baby in the womb. In the same way, we are nourished by etheric vital life force from Source (which comes through the Godspark) here in the physical realm.
All souls have this Godspark at the heart chakra, but when we leave the body at the end of a life, the Godspark falls away.
The location of the primary Godspark is always and without fail at the heart chakra.
But souls can sometimes end up with a secondary Godspark…
This is a secondary connection through which we can receive additional vital life force from Source, and it’s connected to one chakra in particular.
When we get a secondary Godspark, it means more vital life force is now available at a particular spot in the chakra system. This results in more energy running through a particular chakra, to be used for an activity connected to that chakra.
At the heart (4th) chakra, it could be more energy for healing, empathy or love.
At the throat (5th) chakra, it could be more energy for teaching and communication.
At the third eye (6th) chakra, it could be more energy for cognition, intuition, imagination or memory.
Note that technically, a secondary Godspark can be located at any of the major seven chakras, however I almost always find them at the 4th, 5th and 6th chakras.
Secondary Godsparks are always significant. Firstly because they’re not handed out to everyone — they’re relatively unusual.
Secondary Godsparks are also special because we don’t get to request one. Spirit decides you need it based on what your soul is here to do, and then it just shows up. Usually the secondary Godspark’s arrival is planned before we incarnate, and if not, years or decades in advance.
When I read someone’s Akashic soul record, I can find out if someone has a secondary Godspark, and if so, on what area of their life it impacts. I also find out when it showed up. When you put those details together, you can usually work out why Spirit gave the person the secondary Godspark because it often corresponds to something significant that happened in their life, such as the beginning of a major new project (like writing a book) in someone’s life work, or someone starting a family. Obviously not everyone who starts a family gets a secondary Godspark. And not everyone who writes a book gets one either.
The reason why someone gets a secondary Godspark is simply because they need one in order to successfully carry out their soul’s purpose.
For example, some people who write books have the communication skills to do so. They were born with them, maybe they carried them through from many past lives honing them. Perhaps they were orators, storytellers, oral tradition keepers or writers in the past. They might also have soul gifts in this area that have been present since the birth of their soul.
But some people who write a book have no such gifts and they may struggle with the endeavour and need more support from Spirit.
Sometimes people do have these gifts to some degree but they need a massive boost to match the size of their mission in this life.
Case study: Secondary Godspark at the Throat Chakra
I was given a secondary Godspark at the throat chakra in October 2024.
At the time I was writing a new course (my Evolutionary Manifesting Course). I was channelling some of it. I had also recently started doing Evolutionary Manifesting readings which involved a lot more channelling (and clairaudience, which is a throat chakra skill).
When I look over the totality of my soul profile — what I have been learning and doing in past lives, and the soul gifts I naturally carry, there aren’t many communication gifts that I have. Yet I need teaching and communication gifts in this lifetime, and that is why I believe I have a secondary Godspark.
In astrology, my north node is in Gemini in the 9th house. For those not familiar with astrology, your north node shows what your soul is here to develop and grow into — not what you already have mastered. Gemini is all about communication, and the 9th house is about teaching, publishing, and sharing knowledge. So essentially, my soul chose to come here and develop these communication skills rather than arriving with them already polished from past lives. And that’s exactly why I’d need the boost of a secondary Godspark at the throat chakra — I’m building these abilities from scratch, not just dusting off old talents.
The results of the secondary Godspark have really been felt in my life. Channelling is a lot easier (I don’t need to get myself “into the zone” aka the alpha state anymore). And writing has become even easier and quicker to do (it was quick before but now it’s quicker.)
Let’s have a look at another example:
Case Study: Secondary Godspark at the Root Chakra
Secondary Godsparks at the root chakra are unusual, but when they do show up for someone, it’s because they need help grounding in this world. This tends to be the result of one of a few different scenarios:
Root chakra secondary Godsparks can sometimes be given to souls who have not had many incarnations in this world, and who come from a world or a star system that resonates in, for example, the seventh dimension. These souls are used to such high vibrational energies in their home world that they struggle to adjust to the lower vibrations and heavy energies present here on Earth. Getting a secondary Godspark at the root chakra can help with this.
These can also be given when a soul has a medical condition that makes day-to-day living and managing the mundane details of their life, difficult. This could be a mental health condition such as dementia, or dissociative personality disorder.
A root chakra secondary Godspark may appear when a person needs help tethering their soul’s consciousness to their physical human body. This may be when a person undergoes a psychosis or is put into a coma for some medical reason.
Finally, a root chakra secondary Godspark can be given to those souls who have experienced great trauma or some kind of abuse, and as a result, they tend to dissociate. This is support for the root chakra so that the person does not “fly away” into the energetic realm, so to speak.
A common question that people ask is, can we have more than one secondary Godspark?
I’ve never seen more than one in my time reading for thousands of people over the last 18 years. I’m not saying it’s not possible, but I’ve never encountered it.
In summary…
- Everyone has a primary Godspark at the heart chakra
- Occasionally a soul can be gifted a secondary Godspark to help them with some (usually) major life endeavour
- The location of the Godspark in the chakra system is a big clue about what this person is here to do, because it reveals what they need or what they are missing to carry out their soul’s purpose.
