On my blog I talk a lot about past life blocks to manifesting but sometimes for some people, there are no past life blocks. What you want to manifest is completely available to you, but you aren’t using conscious creation techniques in an effective way.
Here’s one of the biggest pitfalls for those on a path of conscious creation and one that people fall into all the time…
Thinking OF your desire instead of thinking FROM it.
The Law of Assumption author and mystic Neville Goddard talked a lot about this.
“The spanning of the bridge between desire—thinking of—and satisfaction—thinking from—is all-important. We must move mentally from thinking of the end to thinking from the end. This, reason could never do. By its nature it is restricted to the evidence of the senses; but imagination, having no such limitation, can. Desire exists to be gratified in the activity of imagination. Through imagination man escapes from the limitation of the senses and the bondage of reason.”
Neville Goddard, Awakened Imagination (Chapter 2.)
I remember the most effective conscious manifesting I ever did was when I was really sick with lupus and multiple times a day I would lie down and mentally go and seek the timeline where I was well. And I would go find that version of Anna and integrate her energy field into mine. And live in that for several minutes, or as long as I could. I’d shift timelines temporarily and experience something different. My health really changed for the better after about 2 weeks of doing that multiple times a day.
(I explained the technique in this article.)
That sense of living FROM that reality of being well was very different to the other techniques I had previously used like repeating robotic affirmations such as “I am full of energy”. When I repeated those, I was somehow aware that I was not full of energy — I was tired.
I was thinking of my desire and I was desiring it. I was not experiencing the fulfilment of having it.
I was doing techniques SO THAT I COULD HAVE IT.
Some conscious creators spend years doing techniques to have what they want. And I actually think it’s OK to do that sometimes because those techniques can help ‘span the bridge between desire and satisfaction’ (as Neville Goddard puts it in that quote from Awakened Imagination).
But if you are doing techniques to have your desire long term and nothing changes, either you need to shift your technique (try the technique in this article instead to help you to live FROM it rather than wishing for it.)
Or if nothing changes after 3-6 months of daily conscious creation techniques, you should consider past life blocks/karmic complexes.
