I first learned about the various starseed types when I learned to read the Akashic Records 15 years ago. I was taught about many of them, and then I discovered others in the course of working with clients and reading for people.
How I know this information is accurate
Much of the information you will find on the internet about the starseed types may not be accurate. Here’s why: it is either hearsay (something that the website owner has read elsewhere and is passing on) or it is freshly channelled (so, something that has been channelled by the website owner but never tested with clients.)
The information that I’ll be passing on in this article is neither of those things.
This body of information has been in existence for decades, and it’s been used by practitioners and readers of the Akashic Records during that time. In addition, it’s been tested extensively with clients. So, if Spirit tells us that a client belongs to a particular group, and I pass on the information to that client, we get a chance to find out if the information is accurate or not, because the client gives feedback on the group they belong to. If we find that clients repeatedly do not resonate with one aspect of the information, we are able to find out more about that and see whether there is something that is slightly ‘off’ about that aspect of the info. It gives us a chance to course correct and refine over time. If you repeat this thousands of times, over time you’re going to end up with a very accurate body of work. And this is what I am giving to you in this post.
This is a really important process, in order to ensure accuracy, and it is something that most website owners who give out info about the starseeds, have not been through with their information.

Just a note that in this article, I am covering each group briefly. I will mostly cover what is most defining about each group. How did the various starseed types come about?
When a soul is new, they choose a place of incarnation. That place of incarnation that they choose becomes a part of the soul. The soul absorbs the energies and ‘culture’ of that particular place, and those energies they bring forward with them into all subsequent incarnations. That’s what it is to be a starseed — a soul that brings ‘foreign’ energies to earth.
OK, with that said, let’s get into the list of starseed types:
Earth souls
This is not a starseed type as such, but I’m going to start with this group anyway, because they are the most common group on planet Earth (making up up to 75% of the world’s population.)
These souls have only ever incarnated here on Earth. They are generally very experienced being in a body on planet Earth (with plenty of lifetimes behind them), and they know how things work here. They specialise in bringing grounded, practical, down-to-earth energies. They can teach the starseed groups how to live comfortably here. They haven’t experienced incarnating anywhere else, so they don’t bring much breadth of experience, like the starseed groups do. They’re not very interested in spirituality and I hardly ever read for them.
Blueprinter souls
These souls are a wider soul group that contains several sub-groups.
Let’s look at them as a wider soul group first of all.
Blueprinters are the group that were given the ‘plan’ from Spirit for planet Earth as a place of evolution for souls. This obviously happened a long time ago. So, on the soul level their job as a group is to oversee this place as somewhere souls can evolve.
They are called the Blueprinters because they were given the ‘blueprint’ to oversee.
The blueprint for Planet Earth is that we evolve through the contrast between light and dark (as souls we evolve through both positive and negative experiences), and also that we have several aspects to us when we’re incarnated — the physical aspect (our bodies), the psychological aspect, the emotional aspect, and the spiritual aspect. This sounds really obvious however not all places of evolution involve having a body (for example.) So being here is about balancing the demands of the various aspects of us. Life is about balance, and that is a big part of the blueprint.
Now let’s have a look at some of the Blueprinter groups.
Blueprint Deliverers
The role of this group is to bring the energies of compassion and love to planet Earth. The Ascended Master Jesus belongs to this group. These souls often work for charities or as social workers (to give a couple of common examples.) They bring Divine love through their interactions with others.
Blueprint Changers
These souls are healers and survivors. They have studied the more negative aspects of being incarnated here, by incarnating into some very tricky situations in the past, and as a result they can help other souls to heal.
Blueprint Translators
This groups upholds that part of the blueprint that is about balance. They remind other souls to balance the physical realm with the spiritual realm. Therefore, they are often both spiritually oriented yet really down to earth.
Blueprint Designers
This is the group that had a hand in designing the earth plane as a place of evolution for souls. They don’t incarnate that much, but when they do, they tend to be very creative.
Blueprint Originators
This is the group that helped to implement the blueprint in the early stages, when planet Earth was still a new place for souls to incarnate. They were then responsible for overseeing the blueprint over a longer period, checking that it was functioning as it was supposed to. When they incarnate, they tend to be detached observers of society. They don’t participate in life as much as some of the other soul groups do.
Blueprint Technicians
These souls were the ‘engineers’ of the earth ‘experiment’. They took the plans given by the spiritual beings who helped set up this place as a place of evolution for souls, along with the input from the Blueprint Originators, and they helped to set up the interaction of the physical with the spiritual e.g. the structure of our energy bodies, amongst other things.
Mintakans/Orion star seeds
These souls bring positive, uplifting energies to planet earth. They are like cheerleaders — uplifting others with their positive attitudes. They come from a utopian place where souls didn’t evolve through the contrast between light and dark, and as a result their experience of life can sometimes be discouraging and they are quite tired of planet Earth. They are a very ancient soul group that has been incarnating here for such a long time.
Sirian star seeds
This is another ancient star seed group that has been incarnating here for a very long time (and this is my own soul group of origin.)
Sirians are very interested in evolving their souls and growing. That’s why they keep signing up for the ‘Earth experiment’.
They specialise in improvement, and they apply that to everything in their lives. They are constantly trying to improve themselves and the world around them. They’re very service oriented.
Many of these souls, when incarnated, have brought through new technologies that have helped to push our society forwards in its evolution. Albert Einstein is one example of a Sirian soul who has played a part in that.
Polarean star seeds
I very rarely see this group or read for them, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t exist!
Polareans bring the energies of dependability, loyalty, constancy, and stability to their family and community. They’re very good at uniting people behind common causes and they also help to bring together conflicting people or groups. They’re the glue that holds people together.
A prominent example of a Polarean star seed is Queen Elizabeth II.
Arcturian star seeds
Arctureans’ home world is a high-vibrational place, and as a result they embody very spiritual and high-vibrational energies. (Their upper chakras tend to be overactive, and this is normal for them.)
They’re highly intelligent and intuitive souls who think that being incarnated on Planet Earth kind of sucks — it’s too low vibrational for them here. When incarnated, they gravitate towards metaphysics, and they tend to be found on Spirit Guide teams.
Alpha Caelian star seeds
This is a group of souls that bring the energies of healing and ‘lightness’ to Planet Earth.
They specialise in helping to heal souls that have recently exited an earthly incarnation, on the other side (so, they help recently deceased souls to release earthly traumas and imprints.)
They don’t have a long history of incarnating here, but when they do, they often feel out of place.
Alpha Fornacians
These souls come from a place of incarnation that exists as an emotional world (where souls have emotional bodies, instead of physical bodies.)
They specialise in bringing emotional intelligence (empathy, compassion and self-awareness) to our world.
Alpha Centaurians
Solitary, self-sufficient and highly protective of others, Alpha Centaurians see themselves as the ‘guardians’ of Planet Earth. Their collective spiritual purpose is to protect Earth against negativity. They have strong intellects and analytical skills but they don’t feel as comfortable operating from their emotional aspect.
Hadarians
Hadarians are bringers of the energy of Divine Love. They do this by radiating love in their personal interactions with others. If they had a motto it would be: ‘all you need is love’. Because they have such loving souls, and they have qualities of softness, purity and innocence, they usually find life on Planet Earth to be too harsh and lacking in love, which discourages them in their own soul purpose here. Because souls belonging to this group are easy to take advantage of, this soul group does have a background of being oppressed when incarnated here.
Maldecians
The Maldecian’s home world no longer exists. The Maldecians were a war mongering soul group, whose actions destroyed their own home world. As a result of their loss of their home world, they are quite deliberative and cautious in everything they do, and they weigh up the consequences of their actions in order to avoid future catastrophes. Like the Alpha Centaurians, members of this group have strong intellects, at the expense of their emotional aspect.
Mission Realmers
Mission Realmers are souls who originate in the angelic realm (which is also called the ‘Mission Realm’, hence their name.)
They came here to Planet Earth with the intention of counterbalancing the negative aspects of incarnating here. However, they found this mission to be much harder than anticipated, partly because they had no experience in being human and moving matter to make things happen in the 3D. Instead they found themselves feeling like powerless bystanders rather than ‘movers and shakers’. The reason for this was because angels hold and emit energies — they excel in the ‘being’ aspect of life and not so much in the ‘doing’ aspect.
However, Mission Realmers bring many gifts such as spiritual wisdom. They also bring the energies of peace and they are great listeners.
Nihal
Highly progressive and modern souls, Nihals are also known as ‘indigo’ or ‘crystal’ children. They are bringers of change, and they incarnate at times where there’s a lot of change in the pipeline — societally, spiritually or technologically. They are here to teach us how to do things differently.
Parallels
Parallel souls come to us from completely different Universes (when I refer to ‘Universes’ I am referring to the totality of all that is — planets, star systems, galaxies and solar systems.)
Furthermore, parallels not only come from different universes, but they exist, and experience life in more than Universe at once. This gives them a unique perspective on life here. Parallels are not as grounded and tethered to this place in the way other souls tend to be, and as a result they bring the energies of multi-dimensionality and freedom of expression into this realm of existence. They teach us that we are multi-faceted and we do not have to be defined by any one part of us.
The Parallels also come here to experience an aspect of our world that they aren’t able to experience in their own. This could be: human emotions, communication, our earthly environment/nature, sex/gender, tribe or nationality…to give a few examples.
Pleiadians
This is a soul group that is here to inspire us to take steps towards our goals. Their motto is ‘just do it!’ They are here to bring fast change and to speed up the rate of evolution on this planet.
Spicans
The highly evolved Spicans are here to teach us earth-dwellers about how to reach “enlightenment” — a state of being that involves a completely balanced energy field. The Spicans are also exploring the concept of enlightenment for themselves — their lives are often an exploration on how to release negative blockages and baggage that stop them from ascending into a higher state of awareness.
Vegans
Vegans are natural born entertainers — they bring joy and light-heartedness into the physical realm. They have a fantastic sense of humour and are great at making others laugh. They also tend to be quite creative and nurturing.
