When I do an Akashic Record Reading for a client, there are multiple aspects that I look at that give me insight into the person’s soul gifts and what they are good at.

These aspects are:

• The Archangelic Realm(s) of training
• the soul group(s) of origin
• & the archetypes that a soul holds

Let’s have a look at these aspects first of all, and what they are, then I will explain how they connect to multi-talented people. 

The Archangelic realm of training is a training that the soul has from the beginning of its life as a soul. Most people know about the 8 chakras that we have in the physical, but not many people know that there are also 8 corresponding energy centres in the non-physical world (called ‘realms’) that hold the energies connected to each of the chakras. Each realm is presided over by an Archangel (for example, Archangel Raphael presides over the 4th energy centre which corresponds to the heart chakra). When a soul is created, it chooses one of these realms to train in, and in doing so, the energies of that realm become part of the fabric of that soul. For example, a soul that trains in Archangel Raphael’s realm tends to be a healer.

The Archangelic realm of training gives us a lot of information about the approach that a soul is going to take to life, what their soul gifts are and what they need in order to be happy. 

The soul group of origin means the environment that the soul chooses for its formative incarnations. Sometimes souls choose to have their very first incarnation here on Earth (which makes them an Earth soul) but often, souls choose to have their first several incarnations elsewhere. New souls are very impressionable, energetically speaking, and absorb the energies of the first place they incarnate into. Then they bring those energies forward with them into all subsequent lifetimes, including earthly lifetimes.

Therefore the soul group of origin is a big part of our soul’s purpose and has an impact on what we’re good at, on the soul level. 

Now let’s have a look at the archetypes. There are 36 possible archetypes that a soul can hold, such as ‘intuitive’, ‘relater’, ‘protector of animals’, ‘coach’, or ‘humourist’ to give a few examples. These give more details on a soul’s purpose for any given lifetime, in addition to the details provided by the Archangelic realm of training and the soul group of origin categories mentioned above.

Archetypes are often skills gathered in past lives. For example, a soul with the ‘communicator’ archetype is often a soul with past life experience as an orator, writer, scribe, messenger or oral storyteller. 

Most souls are not especially multi-talented

Many souls have just one Archangelic realm of training, one soul group of origin, and several archetypes. For example, a soul could have the Rapahelite realm of training which means he is a natural-born healer. He could also be an Alpha Caelian soul, which means that he has been a healer, on the ‘other side’, and his archetypes could revolve around working with people, such as ‘counsellor’, ‘relater’, ‘intuitive’, ‘empath’ and ‘compassion’. Often the archetypes will reinforce what the realm of training and the soul group of origin are already telling us. 

These soul gifts, taken altogether, point to the idea that this soul will be drawn to healing and maybe some sort of pastoral role in his career, too. He may be working as a psychologist or a priest or some other religious worker who comes into contact with people. Or he could be a nurse or a doctor (and this would be a doctor with a great bedside manner) or any number of roles that involve healing and a warm, soothing presence.

Note that these gifts are all pointing in the same direction, and this is not uncommon.

Now let’s look at the opposite scenario.

Every now and again I come across a soul for whom most of their soul gifts are going in opposite directions from one another (instead of all pointing to the same area of study or work). And this can sometimes be a difficult thing for people who have it. It can produce the feeling of never being able to settle on ‘one thing’.

Let’s look at an example of this:

A soul who has two realms of training — perhaps the Raphaelite realm of training, which points towards healing, and the Gabrielite (5th) realm of training which points towards communication and teaching.

Then the soul has two soul groups of origin — the Vegan soul group, which is all about making people laugh, entertainment and being in the limelight, and the Mintakan soul group, which is all about helping people to evolve and grow spiritually.

And maybe a set of archetypes which have nothing to do with the above gifts, such as artist, activist, coach, protector of animals and improving systems.

For this person, I can count 10 different gifts. This person could be:

• A dance teacher (Gabrielite realm of training plus Vegan soul group of origin)
• A dance performer (Vegan)
• An actor (Vegan)
• A spiritual coach (Mintakan)
• A healer (Raphaelite realm of training)
• A Reiki teacher (Gabrielite and Alpha Caelian)

And maybe all at once!

I read for someone recently whose soul profile looked a lot like this — he was self-employed and had many different strands to his business, including teacher, healer, performer, and more.

People who have soul profiles like this are the ones who feel they are pulled in multiple different directions. They often get frustrated when they see people around them who are focused on just one thing, because they suspect they are spreading themselves too thinly.

If this is you, perhaps you are meant to be focused on multiple areas and doing multiple different jobs throughout your life?

I would say maybe 5-10% of my Akashic Record Reading clients fit into this category and they get a lot of validation from being told that they are designed to be immersed in multiple different fields of work and study throughout their life.
