Recently I had a question from a student asking something along these lines:
“I’m curious about your take on Neville Goddard’s concept of “everything is you pushed out” as it applies to the wider world.
Can we effect change in world events, such as politics, war, global tragedies and events that affect a large number of people all at once?”
This is something I have pondered a great deal over the last two years and I finally feel I have come to a better understanding of this topic and have an answer to it, although it is just my opinion based on my experience and channelling.
The Law of Assumption teacher Neville Goddard (who is the manifesting teacher/author who has had the biggest influence on me) taught this concept that “everything is you pushed out”. I interpret this to mean that whatever shows up in your world, is a reflection of your subconscious mind and the contents of your auric field.
There are many aspects that can be contained within the auric field and reflected out into your 3D reality:
- Positive or negative thoughts
- Positive or negative reactions/emotionalised reactions
- Positive or negative moods
- Positive thought forms (repeated positive thoughts that have taken on a life of their own)
- Negative thought forms (repeated negative thoughts that have taken on a life of their own)
- Desires and intentions
- Traumas and fears
- Positive and negative beliefs
- Karmic complexes
- Energy body tears/leakages
- Soul loss
- Downstream consequences of karmic complexes, such as ancestral influences, earthbound spirits, present life soul loss (and more)
This isn’t an exhaustive list, but just to give you some ideas, in terms of what I believe ‘everything is you pushed out’ refers to.
I do not believe that we can control world events with our thoughts, beliefs, reactions or feelings. We have incarnated in this time, in this place, and certain things are going to happen in the backdrop of our incarnations that are outside of our control. Our souls have chosen to be here and part of this.
Earth school is clearly not a utopia and never will be one.
But we can create our own personal utopias. We can control our personal world and to some extent we can positively influence those around us within our world.
And we can certainly influence how much we take part in any kind of global upheaval or unfortunate event, through the contents of our auric field and our vibrational state.
I’ll give you an example of how this may manifest.
When the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, most buildings in the surrounding area were flattened and of course, many people were killed either in the explosion or later on from the health effects of the radiation.
Eight Jesuit priests survived the bomb as their rectory was not completely destroyed (unlike most of the buildings in the vicinity) and amazingly, they reportedly had no subsequent health effects.
You can read more about that story here.
Here is an excerpt from the article:
“Father Schiffer and the other Jesuits were examined and interviewed repeatedly by scientists, medical doctors and others who could not understand why they had escaped injury. Father Schiffer reportedly said that he himself had been interviewed 200 times. Asked why they believe they were spared, when so many others died either from the explosion or from the subsequent radiation, Father Schiffer spoke for himself and for his companions:
We believe that we survived because we were living the message of Fatima (i.e. the Virgin Mary). We lived and prayed the Rosary daily in that home.”
Religious practices (such as prayer) can elevate one’s vibrational state in a similar way to LOA practices. Certain negative religious teachings (such as the existence of hell or excessive guilt over one’s sins) are not going to help, but if a person can take what is positive from religious teachings and put it into practice through prayer and meditation, this can raise one’s vibrational state.
I believe that living from a high vibrational state protects one from danger and adversity. Your vibrational state can make us invisible to trouble makers, more receptive to protective intuition, and more.
So, this is what I mean when I say that we can mostly just influence our own outcomes within the backdrop that we have incarnated into.
In some small way, we can also influence our corner of the world, but I don’t believe we can do this by trying hard to be a positive influence on others or helping others. In fact, the more that we try to help others or save the world, the less effective we become.
We have to pour into ourselves with LOA techniques or anything else that makes us feel good, live well, and guard our own vibrational state, and then we can positively influence others as a side effect of that, without even trying.
But alter the course of world events? No, not unless we came here with a particular soul contract to singlehandedly do so, and that does not apply to many souls.
Where are you putting your focus?
Something I find helpful is to largely tune out from the news and other sources of info about what is going on in the world.
I personally have struggled with this issue a lot over the last couple of years as I came to terms with knowing information that I didn’t have before. I became much more aware of the fact that certain sociopathic corporations and individuals seem to have much more control than they should have over the state of the world and I also came to the conclusion that politics does not effect much change. I no longer trust governments in any way, shape or form. I found the more I focused on what I discovered and believed to be true, the more angry and despondent I became. Nothing I was absorbing was helping to solve that problem, and focusing on it was not helping anyone or myself.
These days, I choose to turn away from the world’s problems and I seek to be like the Jesuit priests, aiming to focus instead on high vibrational energies. It is not always easy and I am not saying I manage to achieve it day in, day out, but it is something to aim for.
This isn’t to say that I don’t believe in activism. Activism can create some degree of change, but I also believe it comes at a personal cost because it involves resistance, which is not an easy energy to be dealing in.
If you’re struggling to live from a high vibrational place but you’d like to change that, go here to read my Law of Assumption (LOA) articles and get the info you need to get started with your own LOA practice.
