One year ago, I brought out my Evolutionary Manifesting course and began to offer Evolutionary Manifesting readings. 

Evolutionary Manifesting as a modality is all about identifying and clearing the longstanding negative patterns and past life blocks that we bring from one incarnation to the next, so we can finally manifest what we desire in this lifetime.

I call these past life blocks “karmic complexes” (this is a term that was coined by the past life regressionist Roger Woolger.) 

One of the discoveries I made after I created this modality is that just as we can clear our own past life blocks or karmic complexes, so we can also work on our ancestors’ and even deceased loved ones’ karmic complexes to some degree. 

This week I’ve been doing ancestral readings and healings for my Evolutionary Manifesting students. 

In these readings, I do a ‘wellness’ check, which involves tuning in to find out how ‘well’ an ancestor or a deceased loved one is on the other side. Being well means that they are not earthbound, they are at peace, without unresolved issues from their lifetime and not haunting the family line in any way.

There are 3 levels of deadness and ‘wellness’ that a deceased person can reach.

The 1st is that they can be earthbound, meaning that they did not cross over upon death. This is indicative of serious unresolved issues in their life i.e. when a person dies with a severe karmic complex that they never resolved in their lifetime. 

Being earthbound means the person leaves remnants of their subtle mental and emotional bodies close to the earth plane, and that fragment of the soul remains behind, while the soul continues on its journey without that part. But this scenario is not ideal and has consequences for the soul’s path going forward. 

The 2nd level of ‘deadness’ that can occur is when a soul does cross over to the other side after death, but they have unresolved issues that they take with them into their next life. This usually corresponds to a less severe unresolved karmic complex. 

The 3rd level of deadness is when someone dies well and crosses over, with no significant unresolved issues.

Daniel Foor, the author of the book Ancestral Medicine states that he believes many dead people who lived in Western societies reach the 1st and 2nd level of deadness — either dying with unresolved issues or remaining earthbound. This is because Western cultures and religions do not tend to prepare for death to the same extent as other spiritual traditions do. 

Many other cultures have rituals to honour the dead. Someone I know whose family is Catholic, when his grandmother died, they prayed for her soul daily for weeks, to ensure a safe passage to heaven. (This kind of work has benefits for the dead but it needs to be done ideally soon after death.) I also recently read for someone whose ancestor was earthbound at death but was able to cross over later on, following the Buddhist rituals carried out by the family.

What happens in an ancestral healing session?

Here is my process:

When my client gives me the info on their ancestor or deceased loved ones, I begin with a wellness check and I find out their status on the other side. 

If the deceased loved one died with unresolved issues or a karmic complex, I research it as if I was working with a living client, to understand in a lot of depth and detail why this soul is not at peace. 

I find out the nature of the karmic complex or past life block, how it affected them in life and how the ancestral patterns may be affecting the family, if applicable. I also find out, was there any soul loss or trauma that occurred in their lifetime that resulted in lost soul fragments? And if they are earthbound, I find out where or who they are attached to. 

Mediums often say that they can’t tune in to every deceased person but so far I’ve had no problems connecting. It may also be because my clients send me several possible ancestors or deceased loved ones to work with, and Spirit chooses the recipient. 

Once the reading is done, I move onto the healing.

I do a process to reunite the person with any lost soul fragments from their most recent lifetime. This is not as effective as a person going through a process to retrieve their own soul fragments in life, but it can help, and most of all it shifts the energy and allows them to move on to the next stages of healing in this process.

If they’re earthbound, I talk to them and explain their death, and tell them about their karmic complex. I tell them what is going to happen next and that they need to cross over in order to move onto their next phase in their soul’s evolution. Sometimes Archangel Michael will bring in Divine energies that the deceased one needs, and they can be quite specific energies. 

Other times, I listen to their story and validate them. The dead tell stories of their traumas in this life that my clients sometimes later confirm.

There can also sometimes be a reckoning where the deceased one meets up with another soul in the afterlife and they need to exchange apologies or seek forgiveness. There can sometimes be a discharge of anger over something that happened in this life. 

Finally, we set an intention to anchor into their next life and we ask Archangel Michael to encode that into the circumstances of the next incarnation as far as possible – it’s usually something the person feels they failed at in this lifetime, connected to their karmic complex. This means that they have more resources in their next life to overcome their karmic complex fully and not fall into the same traps that they did in this lifetime.

This is a process that usually takes around 1-3 hours and the energy really shifts as we work through these steps. 

If the soul is earthbound and enmeshed with someone, we go through a very involved process to release the spirit from that person’s energy field.

This is probably the most rewarding and skilled process I practise and teach. It is involved and it requires a lot of channelling ability and intuition in terms of knowing what the deceased one needs next. And you can see the effect on the deceased loved one or ancestor in real time, as they become brighter and a better version of themselves as we move through the steps of the session.

By the time we’re done, I find out what the effect has been on the deceased one. It is usually a downgraded karmic complex, which means that the ancestor may have started out with a severe complex and by the time we’ve done this work, it’s become more of a minor complex. It is important to note that we can’t fully resolve other peoples’ karmic complexes for them, but if their soul agrees, we can significantly downgrade them so that they will suffer less from the patterns inherent within the complex, and have a real shot at resolving it fully in their next life. And if they were earthbound, they are now able to go freely to the other side. This means that in the next incarnation, the soul will have less soul loss and more vitality available to them than they otherwise would have had.

Most of all, this work has a positive effect on the family field, if the ancestor or deceased loved one has been negatively impacting on the family and haunting the family line with their unresolved issues.

So, there are two types of benefit to be had here — benefits for the dead and benefits for those who inherited ancestral patterns.

The prime candidate for an ancestral reading and healing is someone who is doing the work of resolving their own karmic complex, since ancestral issues are often a downstream consequence of a karmic complex.

This is both a reading and healing session. I will do the research and healing work on my own (usually between 1 and 3.5 hours) and then send an audio between 15 and 30 minutes long explaining what I did.

The work can currently take me up to 4 hours in total but I am offering it at a low price for the amount of work involved since I am still developing and tweaking my methods.

In these readings, sensitive info may be shared about the dead and forwarding the reading on to family members who don’t believe in what I do or have a different view of the deceased one or ancestor, can cause drama! So the reading is strictly only for the recipient’s use.
